Challenge:

Spanning 648 miles across southern Arizona, this long-term maintenance project requires coordination with multiple agencies and tribes, including Organ Pipe National Monument and the Tohono Oʼodham Nation. Extreme terrain, weather variability, and continuous operation posed ongoing logistical challenges.

Result:

Spencer Construction delivered consistent performance across all scopes, enhancing infrastructure safety and reliability. Upgrades such as LED lighting and erosion control have improved road accessibility for agents and the public throughout the Tucson sector.
