Services Provided:

Design-build, provided engineering and design for new border wall on the sandy beach of San Diego. Removed existing border infrastructure. Fabricated border wall panels, installed coating to protect from salt spray, excavated and installed concrete foundation and wall panels.

Challenge:

Sandy conditions causing ground destabilization, protests from Mexican citizens, illegal crossings through our jobsite during construction, Southern CA King tides causing damage to project site.

Result:

Spencer Construction leveraged its extensive border construction expertise to deliver safe, durable, and sustainable solutions in partnership with U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
